100 Days is a horror and thriller movie which revolves around a crime element. Madhuri Dixit plays a lead role in this movie. Partho Ghosh who is directing now Shilpa shetty for the movie Kaanch-The Broken Glass directed 100 Days movie.
A young girl called Devi (Madhuri Dixit) gets regularly some visions. In that visions she watches accidents, murders which have not happened before. One day in her vision she watches a person wearing an overcoat killing her sister Rama (Moon Moon Sen). Immediately she calls her sister. After some days Rama disappears and police files a missing case on her. After five years Devi marries a business man Ram (Jackie Shroff). They will start their marriage life in a bungalow called Kothi which was a in legal case for the past five years.
After entering into the bungalow she gets another vision of a person killing a girl. She starts investigating about her sister. Her sister Rama is a research scholar and researches about Indian temples and historical things. Devi finds a photo of a stone in her sister's dairy. That stone actually belongs to Mumbai Museum. She meets two people Jagmohan and Parvathi who lost their jobs for missing that particular stone. After all these incidents she gets another vision about her sister. Then she breaks the wall of the Kothi building.
There she finds a skeleton and she identifies the jewellery that belongs to her sister. But the police ignores this. She finally finds a cassette with Jagmohan. In that cassette she watches her husband Ram killing her sister Rama. Ram kills Jagmohan and reveals the truth that he was a smuggler in the past. With the help of Jagmohan he replaced the stone with a duplicate stone. But Rama identified it. When he tried to convince Rama, Jagmohan killed her and shot a picture from outside of the room. So it is showing Ram as a killer.
Madhuri Dixit did very well job in this movie. Jackie Shroff in a negative shade character has got critical acclaim. Javed Jaffrey, Jai Kalgutkar and Neelam Mehra also acted well in their characters. Aravind Laad's camera work is extraordinary in this movie. Music from Ram Laxman is also good.
