Gauri: The Unborn

Gauri: The Unborn was a horror movie directed by Akku Akbar in 2007. This movie received almost positive reviews, but failed to bag success at the Box Office lack of attractive star cast. Later Akku Akbar made it in Malyalam in 2009 with the name Kaani Kanmani.

Sudeep (Atul Kulkarni) and Roshini (Rituparnsen Gupta) married couple. They are happy with good career and nine year old sweet daughter. On the holiday vacations, their daughter Shivani asks them, to go to their home town which she has never seen at least one time before.

Three of them starts on a fine day through their own car. That journey pulls them into unexpected problems. What are those problems, and who is the person behind the mystery is interesting.

Raju Singh has composed music to this horror flick. Cinematography by Viswamangal Kitsu was extra ordinary. Anupam Kher has played another key role

Krishna Cottage

Krishna Cottage is a Bollywood movie produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor under their Balaji Tele Films. Director Santram Varma entered into Bollywood with this film. Its the story takes different turns.

Story starts with a book launch which having nine and half love stories. Manav ( Sohail Khan) who has returned from abroad decides to spend some time with his friends Talli, Nupur Akshay and Kabir. Shanti (Natasha Bhardwaj) joins with them who is fiancee and also childhood friend of Manav.

Every thing goes well until Manav meeting Disha (Isha Koppikar). Manv feels some thing strange with her. Gradually she comes very close to Manv, but Manav loves Shnati only. On the day of Manav and Shanti wedding some strange incedents happens.

Manav and his friends batch goes to Disha's house. Situations forces them to stays there in Krishna Cottage which is a place in her house. Then the real horror starts. Shanti comes to know that, Disha has dead 22 years back only. Later she also comes to know that, the book which having nine and half love stories has some relation with Disha.

How Manav and other protected themselves from Disha and why Disha following them is the remaining story.

Movie failed to do well at the box office, due to the complex story line. Isha Koppikar in the role Disha lived really well.

Raaz (1967)

Raaz is a super natural thriller. It was a biggest hit in 1967. Ravindra Dave has directed this thriller. Rajesh Khann and Babita were paired opposite each other.

Kumar (Rajesh Khanna) is an Indian lives in Africa. He suffers with some nightmares. In his dreams and nightmares he watches regularly a Indian railway station Viran Nagar. To trace out the reason behind his mysterious dreams he and his friend Rocky (I.S. Johar) comes to India.

There Kumar watches the railway station which he watches in his nightmares. The people in that area runs away from Kumar. Every one shouts ghost. Rocky and Kumar surprises with that strange indecent. Sapna (Babita) comes to Kumar and says that, she is waiting for him.



This confuses a lot Kumar because he hasn't visited India before. Another villager called Bansi (Asit Sen) meets Kumar and tells to his that, he has sees some body killing him in the woods. Now Rocky and Kumar gets clue and starts their search to find the person who was killed.

Till the climax director maintained suspense. Kamal Kapoor has appeared in another lead role.

House No 13

House No 13 was a super hit movie directed by Baby. This Horror movie has bagged success without any famous faces.

Takhur Pratap Singh (Anil Dhawan) enters into a haveli without inquiring about the past about it. A old man in the family experiences a some strange thing in his room like cloudy mirror. No one believes his words and enjoys with the beauty of the building. Later every one in the family faces some horrible situations. Finally they comes to know that, they are in the hand of death. No way is there to escape from the building. How they survived ? who is behind all these unnatural things is the suspense till the end.

Sharat Saxena has appeared in a key role. Varalakshmi, Leena Nair and Reeta Badhuri were the other lead cast.

Phoonk 2

Phoonk failed to impress Bollywood audience. But it has bagged critical acclaim. Because of Ram Gopal Varma's business tactics it has bagged good commercial success also. Varma has announced the sequel to this film pre-release only.

After watching the movie, now one expected that, Ramuji will start the 2nd part. But Ram Gopal Varma is planning to start Phoonk 2 as soon as possible. Sudeep, Amrita Khanvilkar and Ahsaas Channa are the lead cast. They were played key roles in first part also.

Milind Gadagkar has narrated the script. Ram Gopal varma has impressed a lot with his script narration style and gave direction responsibilities also to him. On the other hand Varma has started sequel to his another horror movie Agyaat also.

Agyaat 2

Agyaat was a miserable flop at Box Office. Nitin Kumar Reddy and Nisha Kothari were paired opposite each other in that movie. Before release of that movie only Ram Gopal Varma has announced the sequel to it. Now he is ready to start the movie shooting.

According to the Bollywood circles information, Vivek Oberoi will play the lead role in Agyaat 2. With un ending climax Ram Gopal Varma disappointed every one in Agyaat. Till that movie went properly and succeed to scare the audience.

Present he is busy with Amitabh Bachchan's Rann and Phoonk 2. May be after completing those two movies he starts this horror movie. In recent interview he has said that he will release Agyaat 2 by 2010 ending. First part is copy for a Hollywood movie Predator, lets wait and see this time which movie will take new shape.

Ek Paheli

Ek Paheli was a Horror movie directed by Naresh Kumar. This Horror movie bagged a good success at Box Office. Sanjeev Kujmar, Feroz Khan and Tanuja were played the lead roles in this movie.

Sudhir (Feroz Khan) returns to India after his father death. When decides to take care about his family business in Goa. He announces a party to say his entry into business. For that eve he brings a beautiful piano. While he is purchasing the piano, a glorious girl called Maria (Tanuja) warns about the instrument.

While the function is going, a girl who tried to use the piano dies. tragically one servant in Sudhir's house also dies. On the other Sudhir starts searching for Maria. But he fails to find her residence. She meets him in a church. Sudhir's cousin (Madan Puri ) plans to kills Sudhir to hand over his property. How Sudhir escapes from Shankarlal's plans and who is maria all these are suspense till the end.

Jeevan and Aruna Irani are the other lead cast in this thriller.

Hotel

Hotel was a horror movie in 1981. Shyam Ramsay has directed this film. Story revolves around mysterious murders. Hrithik Roshan's father Rakesh Roshan has played a key role in this movie.

Suraj (Navin Nischol) is a un married business man. He is in depression because of seperation from his lady love. On her memory he want to build a hotel. He plans to build the hotel at the place where he met his lover (Neelam) for first time.

He asks his secratry Lalwani (Sudhir) to collect the details for that place. Lalwani meets the real estate agent Changanlal (Rajneet) . After completing all the formalities, Suraj starts construction in that place. Many people helps to Suraj in hotel construction including Vijay (Rakesh Roshan) and Vijay's brother Sanjay.

After completing the hotel every one who involved in this construction dies one by one in mysterious manner. Finally Vijay and Suraj notices that, the hotel is built on grave yard.

Bees Saal Baad

Bees Saal Baad was a Bollywood movie in 1962, it was directed by Biren Nag. It bagged 4 Filmfare awards. This horror movie starred Waheeda Rahman and Biswajeet in lead roles.

Takhur raps a beautiful girl. That girl commits for suicide. Later after a few days takhur dies in a mysterious manner. Every one believes that that girl soul killed Takhur. Thakur's son and brother also dies in the same manner as like Takhur.

Takhur's grand son Kumar Vijay Singh (Biswajeet) not trusts about the souls and ghosts. He thinks that some other reason is there behind the murders. He returns back from London and appoints a private detective called Jasoos (Asit Sen). Vijay falls in love with Radha (Waheeda Rahman). One day Vijay notices a dead body who wearing his clothes.

Then the real game starts. Who are the killer ghost or others is the mystery until the climax.

Hissss

Hissss is the up coming movie of Mallika Sherwat, she has acted as Snake Woman in this movie. Jennifer Lynch has directed this film. Movie was made in Hindi and English at a time. In this horror flick Mallika Sherawat is going to appear nude.

A hunter captures a snake man in a forest. The woman snake starts searching for that. She is on fire to take revenge on that person. Irfaan Khan and Jeff Doucette were acted in other lead roles. This movie is set to release in India and USA at a time by the early 2010.

The plot is a bit similar to Raj Kumar Kohli's Nagin.

Nagin

Nagin was a block buster hit in 1976. Sunil Dutt , Rekha are the lead pair in the movie. It was remade later in Tamil and Telugu, these two movies also became huge hits. Rajkumar Kohli has directed this film.

A male snake and female snake take human bodies because of their ages. After enjoying with human bodies, they decides to go into their original forms. First the male takes his snake shape, by that time a group of friends who are in a trip reaches that place. They feels that, that snake is going to attack on woman and shoots.

The female serpent (Reena Roy) decides to kill all these guys. How it takes the revenge on them is the remaining story.

Kabir Bedi, Sanjay Khan and Feroz Khan are the other lead roles.

Karma

Karma is Hollywood movie made in very low budget by an Indian director M.R.Shahjahan. It own critical acclaim in many Film festivals including Cannes. After getting huge critical acclaim from all over world. Movie makers dubbed it in to Hindi.

Vikram (Carlucci Veyant) who is suffering with loneliness stays in Ooty,. His father Ranvir Singh (Vijayendra Ghatge) is busy with his business work in New York. Ranvir visits Vik along with Anna (Alma Saraci).

Anna convinces, Vikram to take care about the business. On their journey in train Vikram and Anna ends at a small town. Anna feels that, she is very familiar with the surroundings. But she never stepped in India before.

Later she struggles with some dangers nightmares and visions. Vikram who suspects her mental state first, later gives helping hand to her. Both of them finds that, 30 years back Linda ( Claudia Ciesla ) was murdered. Linda's soul reincarnated as Anna. What is the reason behind Linda's death is the suspense till end.

Dahshat

Dahshat was a Horror movie from Shyam Ramsay in 1981. It was one of the successful movie in Shyam Ramsay's career. Navin Nischol and Sarika were played the lead roles.


Dr. Samir (Navin Nischol) goes to his native place after a long gap. There he notices people are scaring to come out in dark nights. He starts investigating the secretes which scaring all the people around him.

His search ends at Dr. Vishal's house. Dr. Vishal (Om Shivpuri) is a very intelligent at the same time selfish person. He utilises others bodies for his own experiments without their permission. He never takes care about Mrs Vishal (Nadira). Every day she quarrels with his because of his carelessness towards her. One day she injects one of the liquid which stills he has invented recently.

That injection changes his body and gives a monster shape. That monster starts killing the people around him. How Dr. Samir solves this problem is the remaining story.

Narendra Nath and Pinchoo Kapoor were the other lead cast.

Amavas

Amavas is an upcoming movie Siddharth Srinivasan. Its a horror movie about moonless nights.

Nisha( Konkana Sen Sharma) and Tara (Tara Sharma) are medical students. They joins as paying guests in a childless couple Hari Singh (Victor Banerjee) and Savitri (Neena Gupta).

On one moonless night both the girls starts discussing about the truth and imaginations about moonless nights. Mean while one of the girl kills a person who tried to attack on them.

Who is that person ?.. he really died or not and his really a man or any super natural power are the questions arises between the girls. How this two innocent girls handles that critical situation is the remaining story.

Mahesh Manjrekar has played a key roles in this movie.

Kal Kisne Dekha

Kal Kisne Dekha was a Super natural thriller from Vivek Sharma who has directed Boothnath earlier.

Story revolves around a guy Nihal ( Jackky Bhagnani) who enters into college life. There he falls for a girl Meesha ( Vaishali Desai) who is an arrogant and egoist. One day he gets some visions about Meesha's future. Later in such visions he watches that, she is in danger.

What is the danger he has seen in his visions, how he protects that girl and how he makes her to love him is the remaining story.

Director failed to give tight screenplay to this movie. Movie bombed at Box Office. Rishi Kapoor and Juhi Chawla were appeared in guest roles

3D Saamri

3D Saamri was a horror movie directed by Shyam Ramsay. Death and revenge formula based movie.


Darmesh Saxena (Ajay Agarwal) aka Saamri is a wealthy old man, he worships daily Maa Kaali. His relative Taklif Chand (Prem Chopra) notices that, Saamri wrote a wills to give his entire property to Anju Trivedi (Arti Gupta).

To get Saamri's properties, Taklif kills him with helps of Khanna (Gulshan Grover), Maria (Asha Sachdev) , Chatterjee (Amarnath Mukherjee) and some others. He plans to kill Anju also. But one by one of them dies in mysterious situations. A mysterious person arises from grave and appears like Saamri kills them.

Huma Khan appears in an item number.

Dhund : The Fog

Dhund : The Fog (2003) is a Horror movie from Shyam Ramsay in 2003.


Simran ( Aditi Gowitrikar) was winner in many beauty contest in her college days. One day she watches a beauty contest in her own town applies to that. Tanya Khurana (Shweta Menon) who lost many type crown because of Simran notices this. She asks her brother Ajit Khurana ( Irrfan Khan) to stop her.



Ajit calls her and warns as mysterious person. But Simran attends for the competition and wins the crown. To celebrate that happy movements, she and her freinds Kaajal (Divya Palat), Kunal (Apoorva Agnihotri) and Sameer (Amar Upadhyay) goes to Khandaala. Ajit also follows them to kill Simran for not tolerating his words.


When Sameer and Kunal leaves Kaajal and Simran to bring some thing, Ajit attacks on Simran. But fate helps to Simran, Ajit dies while trying to kill her. Kajal, Simran, Kunal and Simran hides Ajits dead body. Ajit's soul seeks for them to take revenge .





How the two couples escapes from this situation is the remaining story.

Ghutan

Ghutan was a Horror movie from Shyam Ramsay in 2007. Story revolves around a female ghost's revenge on her husband who killed her.

Ravi Kapoor (Aryan Vaid) marries Catherine ( Heena Tasleem) only for her properties. He starts an affair with his beautiful Secretary Priya ( Pooja Bharati ). He continues enjoying with her for many days.

One day Catherine visits office and catches both of them. Ravi tries to convince her. Later in the quick anger Ravi pushes her hardly. He thinks she is died. With help of his friend Jaggi (Tarun Arora) he buries her. Before burying her, they notices that, she is still alive. But Ravi thinks about his future and Burris her. How Catherine's ghost takes revenge on Ravi, Priya and Jaggi is the remaining story.

Kiran Ramsay gave an excellent back ground music to this movie.

Bhoot Bungla

Bhoot Bungla was block buster hit movie in 1965. Mehmood was director for this horror flick.

Bare Sarkar, Ramlal (Nana Paliskar) and Shamlal (Nassir Hussain) are sons of a rich business man Kundanlal. Kundanlal's brother Kannyalal was murdered. Only heir for Kundanlal's entire property is Rekha (Thanuja) who is only daughter for Bare Sarkar.

Rekha returns back from England after completing her studies. Instantly she arriving India, she hears that her father is died in an accident. After few days Rekha and Shyamlal finds Ramlal hanged. Shyamlal thinks its his turn.

He and Rekha leaves for city. There Rekha receives mysterious phone calls. People who made phone call warns her that, she is their next target. Whats reason behind this murders is the suspense until climax. How Rekha and Shyamlal protected themselves is the remaining story.

Asit Sen and Mehmood also appeared in two important roles. R.D.Rurman gave some excellent back ground score.

Mahakaal

Mahakaal was a horror movie from Ramsay brothers, Shyam Ramsay and Tulsi Ramsay. This movie was remake for Hollywood movie A Nightmare On Elm Street.

A monster starts killing Anita (Archana Puran Singh)'s family members. Anita gets the dreams about that monster. Monster has revenge on this family. Why that monster is killing Anita's family members and Friends is the main story. Anita losses every one in her family . Her boy friend helps to her to protect her self from that monster.

Reema Lagoo, Kulbshan Kharbandha, Johnny Lever and Kunika are the other lead cast for this movie.

Rudraksh

Rudraksh was a super natural thriller starring Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty and Bipasha basu in lead roles. Story is linked to great epic Ramayana. Mani Shankar has directed this fantasy film.



Dr Gayatri (Bipasha Basu) believes magical and healing powers and spiritual possession. She starts dwelling on these subjects. To gather more information, she comes to India with her team from USA. She meets Varun (Sanjay Dutt) who has some special powers. She starts research on him.

Varun experiences some black powers while Gayatri doing experiments. He comes to know that, all the powers he has is coming from a Rudhrash. He starts searching for Rudhraksh. He wanders in many places like Himalayas and deep forests of Sri Lanka to catch that power. What is the power inside the Rudhraksh is the remaining story.


Isha Koppikar also played an important role. Director failed to handle this subject. Amitabh Bachchan gave voice over to this movie. Negar Khan has appeared in a dance sequence.

The Stoneman Murders

The Stoneman Murders was movie based on real incidents in Mumbai. Manish Gupta who has worked as writer for Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar made his debut with this movie.





Many people who are sleeping on the Mumbai footpaths were killed by an unknown person. Mumbai police men failed to catch him, still it has been a mystery. Manish Gupta has opted it as story line and narrated it in investigation style.





Sanjay (Kay Kay Menon) is a suspended police officer. He plans to catch Stoneman, is he does it, he will get his job. Police department appoints Kedar (Arbaaz Khan) to investigate the case. Both of them starts investigating in their own ways. Kedar does his job with help of police department. On the other hand Sanjay struggle a lot lack of help and with attacks from Stoneman.


When Stoneman attacks Sanjay, he notices that, Stoneman is actually belongs to police department only. He informs this news to Kamle (Virendra Saxena). But Kamle surprises Sanjay. What is that surprise and who is the Stoneman is the remaining story.

Rukshar has paired opposite Kay Kay Menon in this movie.

Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani

Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani was a fantasy movie with rebirth and revenge concept. This movie has very huge star cast like Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Rambha and Aftab Shivdasani.

Kapil (Armaan Kohli) is a snake man with lot of magical powers. His lover is a snake woman Vasundhara (Manisha Koirala). She dies because of a curse. In her next birth, she is an ordinary girl Divya (Manisha Koirala). The guys who are srrounding her are attracted to her beauty and tries to flirt her. But Divya's boy friend Karan Saxena (Sunny Deol) beas them and protects her.

When Karan is out of city, guys who was beaten by Karan, attacks on Divya and kills her. Then Kapil enters into the scene and kills one by one all the guys who caused for Divya's death.

This movie did very average at Box Office.

Kaun ?

Kaun was a Horror movie from Ram Gopal Varma. Urmila Matondkar, Manoj Bajpai and Sushant Singh were played key roles in this movie. Anurag Kashyap has penned this script. Story revolves around only three characters one among them is a serial killer.




A young woman (Urmila Matondkar) decides to spend beautiful rainy evening with her pet and watching TV. While she is enjoying with that, she hears some door rings. She notices a guy called Sameer (Manoj Bajpai). She enters into house by saying that, he heard some sounds from out side. Mean while police men informs that, a killer is there in that area. When young woman opens the door to send Sameer away, she notices a person with gun.

He introduces himself as inspector Qureshi (Sushant Singh),but he is thief. Sameer notices his real identity and fights with him. While they both are fighting, young woman catches Qureshi's gun and asks them to be quite. After some time Sameer goes to up stair and notices the dead bodies including Qureshi. Then he comes to know that, the serial killer is none other than that young girl killed. She has already killed that house owner, and staying there. She kills Sameer also and moves to another house.

Sandeep Chowta gave music to this movie. It was a very new concept. Anurag Kashyap has narrated really a fresh script.

Anamika

Anamika was a thriller from Anant Mahadevan. Ananat Mahadevan copied this concept from Alfred Hitchock's Rebecca. Movie revolves around a girl named Anamika who was already died. Koena Mitra, Dino Morea and Minisha Lamba are the lead cast for this movie.


Vikram Aditya Singh Sisodaya(Dino Morea) is a rich person whose wife died in a mysterious manner. After many days he meets Jia (Minissha Lamba) in Mumbai and proposes to her. Before marrying her, he says every thing about his first marriage and wife Anamika. She enters into Vikram's palace as his wife and starts new life.


Later she experiences some scary situations. Voice of Anamika warns her that, she is going to die like her. But Vikram protects her and finds the real criminal behind Anamika's murder.

Anu Malik gave very good back ground score for this movie. Gulshan Grover played a key role in this movie.

Purana Mandir

Purana Mandir was a horror movie from Ramsay brothers. It narrates the story about a bad soul which curses a King family for killing him. Puneet Issar , Mohnish Behl and Arti Gupta played the lead roles in the movie.




Harimansingh ruler of Bijapur sultanate, one day finds his only daughter missing. And orders to his soldiers to find her. Soldiers and king finds her with Simri, Simri is person who knows black magics. When Harimansingh watches her, he notices her eyes bleeding. He comes to know about Simri, he eats children eyes, raps and kills young brides. He orders his servants to remove his head from his body.



After doing it, his head curses Kings family that is, woman in their family will die at the time of child birth. After 200 years. Harimansingh's great great grand son Takhur (Pradeep Kumar) opposes his daughter to marry her lover. When he reveals about his mother and wife's death because of the curse, his daughter escapes from home and arrives the place where Simri's head is placed and burns his body after uniting head and body.

This movie was directed by Shyam ramsay and Tulasi Ramsay and music was scored by Ajit Singh.

Bandh Darwaza

Bandh Darwaza was a horror movie in 1990. This movie came from Ramsay family who gave many block buster horror movies. Unlike single line horror flicks, it has a complex story. Shyam Ramsay and Tulasi Ramsay directed this movie.


Neola is a Dracula lives in a forest and hills area called Kali Paheri. He kills men who are living in the villages around Kali Paheri and seduces women to increase his evils. He employs one of his servant Mahua in Takhur Pratap (Vijayendra Ghadge)'s house. Mahua traps Takhur's wife Lajo and takes her to Kali Paheri. Lajo gives birth to a baby girl Kaima because of Neola and dies.

Kaima grows and falls for Kumar, but Kumar falls for Sapna. When Kaima knows this things she fires on Anand and leaves him. The people from Kali Paheri notices her and takes her to Kali Paheri. There she becomes maid for Neola. As per Neola's wish she takes Sapna and Sapna's brother Anand's wife Bhanu to Kali Paheli.

But Kumar and Anand arrives in time to Kali paheli and protects Sapna and Bhanu. In the fight with Neola, Bhanu and Anand dies. Kumar manages to kill Neola. He hand overs Kaima to Takhur.

Manjeet Kullar, Aruna Irani and Chetan Das were the other cast for this movie.

8x10 Tasweer

8X10 Tasweer was super natural thriller. Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar starred in lead role for this movie. Nagesh Kukunoor first time took a fantasy subject instead of his regular subjects. Ayesh Takia paired opposite Akshay Kumar for this movie.

Jai (Akshay Kumar) is a forest ranger in Canada forests. Jai lives with his girl friend Sheila (Ayesha Takia). Jai has a super natural power that is, when he watches a photo he is able to say past incidents before taking the photo. But while watching the past he losses lot of power and blood from his body.

One day Jai's mother Savithri Puri (Sharmila Tagore) calls him and says about his father Sundar (Ananth Mahadevan) is missing. He watches a photo which was captured few seconds before his father missing. But he faces different problems while reading the photo.

So many audience marked this as bakwaas movie. This movie required tight screenplay, Nagesh Kukunoor failed to provide that, he has succeed in showing beautiful locations in Canada.

Click is upcoming Bollywood movie. This movie to be directed by Sangeeth Sivan. Shreyas Talpade and Sneha Ullal are going to pair opposite each other. Sadha is going to play another lead role for this movie. This movie is remake for a Thailand movie Shutter.


A girl who is separated from her boy friend commits for suicide. Later her boy friend suffers with neck pains. When he watches one his photo he finds a girl on his shoulders. He notices she is none other than his old girl friend. When he joins in hospital still she stays on his shoulders.

Already some South Indian directors has copied this movie. Shreyas Talpade and Sneha Ullal expecting block buster with this movie. Sadha is going to play the ghost role.

Vaastu Shastra

Vaastu Shastra was produced by Ram Gopal Varma and was directed by Saurabh Narang. This concept was very fresh, but movie did average at box office because lack of some powerful scenes. Director indirectly said that, believe horoscopes.



Jhilmil (Sushmita Sen) and Virag (J.D.Chakravarthy) moves to their new house with their son Rohan and Virag's sister Radhika (Peeya Rai). One day they finds Radhika was killed. Rohan experiences ghosts. Later Virag also dies because of the ghosts. Jhilmil tries to escape from the building with her son. But ghosts attacks on her. She hits a peepal tree with her car. Because of the car hit, car and peepal tree burns. All the ghosts which are staying on the tree also burns. But Jhilmil notices later, her son was died because of the ghosts.

Sushmita Sen gave really excellent performance. Rajpal Yadav has acted as mad guy.

Anjaane-The Unknown

Anjaane was a horror movie, it was released in 2005. Manisha Koirala and Sanjay Kapoor played the lead role. Most of the movie moves with Family drama. Harry.W. Fernaanandes was the director for this movie. This movie was remake for Nicole Kidman's The Others.

Shivani (Manisha Koirala) and Aditya (Sanjay Kapoor) are a happy couple with their children. When Shivani notices Aditya's affair with Sonia (Tejaswini Kolhapure) all their laughs and happiness leaves them. Aditya leaves Shivani and children for Sonia. Later he goes to court for children. When he gets full authority on children, Shivani starts fighting with him. Then the real tragedy starts.

Manisha Koirala was not good in this movie. Sanjay Kapoor was good compared with Manisha. Helen's appearance gave special interest on the movie. Director failed to copy the successful concept.

Kucch To Hai

Kucch To Hai is horror film from Anurag Basu. Movie starred Esha Deol, Tusshar Kapoor and Nataasha in lead roles. Jeetendra and Moon Moon Sen gave cameo appearances. Anurag Basu was inspired by some Hollywood movies while writing this movie script.

Tashu (Nataasha) and Karan (Tusshar Kapoor) are students in a college. One they finds a new student Tanaya(Esha Deol) cheating in examination. Tashu, Tanya and Karan goes to a professor's house for question papers. But there they finds a dead body and runs away with fear. While they are running out professor follows them. They accidentally hits him with car and he dies.

All the students goes to different places to protect their lives from police. Later they reunites after many years. But some body kills one by one.

Anurag basu came with perfect script but not with perfect actors. Other wise it must be a historical hit. Esha Deol and Tusshar Kapoor gave very poor performance.

Darling

Darling was a horror movie which was directed by Ram Gopal Varma. He is an expert in scaring people with sounds. He used the same technique in this movie also. Isha Koppikar and Fardeen Khan were paired opposite each other.


Aditya (Fardeen Khan) is a business man, who has an affair with his secretary Geeta Menon (Esha Deol). Geetha fights with Aditya when he marries another girl Ashwini (Isha Koppikar) but Aditya convinces her. One day Aditya kills Geeta when she tells him about her pregnancy.

Geeta goes to Aditya's house as a ghost to take revenge on Aditya. Only Aditya is able to see this ghost. His wife suspects his strange behavior. At last Geeta's soul enters into Ashwini's body.

Himesh Reshammiya and Pritam gave music to this film. Esha Deol gave a good performance in two phases of her character as a ghost and as a wild girl.

Rakht

Rakht is a supernatural thriller directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Bipasha Basu featured in a different role. Mahesh Manjrekar was inspired strongly by the Hollywood movie The Gift. Sunil Shetty took this movie production responsibilities.



Drishti (Bipasha Basu) who has some supernatural powers lives with her 8 year old son. She is able to say the things which are going to happen in the future. Sunny (Dino Morea) always troubles his wife Rhea (Neha Dhupia) by suspecting and beating her. Drishti suggests that she be independent from her husband. This makes Sunny very anger.

Rahul (Sanjay Dutt) falls for a beautiful girl Natasha (Amrita Arora) and gets engaged to her. But she maintains a relationship with other young men. One day Rahul finds Natasha is missing. He meets Dristi, with her powers Drishti finds the face of the person who kidnapped Natasha.
