Bhool Bhulaiyya
Bhool Bhulaiyya is a remake of Malayalam film Manichithrathazhu. Already Manichithrathazhu was remade into Tamil with the name Chandramukhi. Chandramukhi was a record breaker. Rajnikanth, Nayanatara and Jyothika starred in that movie. After watching this huge success, director Priyadarshan remade it in Bollywood.
In Tamil, the director concentrated on Rajnikanth's image more than the horror. Priyadarshan mostly depended on comedy only than the horror. Akshay Kumar played the role of a psychiatrist. He gives treatment for a ghost which has occupied his friend's wife's (Vidya Balan) body.
The ghost is actually a dancer who was killed in the same building. Shiney Shuja and Amisha Patel are the other lead cast. Actually Priyan offered Vidya's character to Katrina and Aishwarya Rai but they rejected.

Darna Zaroori Hai
Ram Gopal Varma is one of the great honest person in India because he sincerely agrees to his failures. He scolds his bad movies publicly. But he never learns a lesson from his failures. Darna Zaroori Hai is the best example for that. This is a sequel for an utter flop movie Darna Mana Hai.
Like Darna Mana Hai, this movie also has different horror stories combined into a single story. An old lady tells horror stories to five children. She tells five different stories. At the end of the last story we find all the children were died. Amitabh Bachchan acted in this film without taking remuneration.
This movie also has a big list of cast- Ritesh Deshmukh, Mallika Sherawat, Anil Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Sonali Kulakarni, Bipasha Basu, Randeep Hooda, Mohit Ahlawat and Nisha Kothari.

Shah Rukh Khan featured as a ghost in Paheli. Most of the movie revolves around a ghost but instead of scaring scenes director took a love story between that ghost and a married girl. Shah Rukh's wife Gauri Khan produced this movie on their Red Chillies Entertainment. Amol Parekar was the director for this movie.
A jealous girl Lachchachi (Rani Mukherji) marries a rich person Bhanwarlal (Anupam Kher)'s son Kishen (Shah Rukh Khan). He dreams that she will be happy for the rest of life.

Real Kishen returns back before the five years. He is shocked after knowing that his wife is pregnant because of a ghost. He consults shepherd (Amitabh Bachchan). Shepherd imprisons the ghost. But that ghost escapes from the bottle and occupies Kishen's body. He spends a happy life with Lachachi.
